Artist Management - Terms and Conditions

This Agreement is made between:

Qeni Pvt Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the “Agency”), having its registered office at [Insert Address], and 

[Client] (hereinafter referred to as the “Client”), who is engaging Qeni Pvt Ltd for the artist performance at their event. The performing Artist/Band will be managed and coordinated by Qeni Pvt Ltd. Collectively, Qeni Pvt Ltd and the Client are referred to as the “Parties.” 

Scope of Engagement

The Client agrees to engage Qeni Pvt Ltd for artist management and coordination services related to the live performance at their event. The performance shall be executed professionally by the Artist and delivered in accordance with the mutually agreed date, venue, time, and format. Qeni Pvt Ltd will: 

Ensure the Artist provides an engaging and interactive experience for the audience, 

Coordinate all technical, on-site, and timeline requirements, 

Ensure adherence to program schedules, 

Address any issues related to performance quality, conduct, or compliance. 

Technical and Stage Requirements

The Artist will provide a technical rider, which Qeni will share with the Client in advance. 

The Client shall facilitate the necessary technical setup, or Qeni will coordinate with the production team on the Client’s behalf. 

Stage, lighting, and sound must meet the specifications to avoid disruptions or performance limitations. 

Deviations from the agreed setup must be mutually approved in writing. 

Performance Licenses

Qeni Pvt Ltd will arrange required music and performance licenses (IPRS, PPL, NOVEX, etc.) unless otherwise agreed upon with the Client.

Commercials and Payment Terms

Qeni Pvt Ltd shall submit the commercial proposal and artist fee structure separately. 

All payments shall be subject to GST, TDS, and applicable Indian financial regulations. 

Payment schedule typically follows: 

70% advance upon booking confirmation, 

Balance in stages leading up to the performance. 

Delays in payments may result in disruption of services or penalties. 

Cancellation and Postponement Policy 

If the Client cancels the event: 

Qeni retains the right to recover advance payments, 

The Artist shall retain the deposit and any non-refundable expenses will be invoiced to the Client. 

If the Artist cancels: 

Qeni will arrange a suitable replacement (subject to availability), or refund the advance, 

Any alternate arrangements will be subject to mutual agreement. 

Postponement 

Qeni will coordinate with the Artist and Client to reschedule, based on availability and revised terms. 

Force Majeure

Qeni Pvt Ltd or the Artist shall not be liable for performance delays or cancellations due to: 

Natural calamities, 

Accidents, 

Public health emergencies, 

Government orders, 

Civil unrest or similar unforeseen events. 

In such cases, both parties agree to negotiate in good faith for rescheduling or contract closure without penalties.

Code of Conduct, Media & Confidentiality 

The Artist will maintain professional behaviour on-site. 

The Client grants Qeni Pvt Ltd permission to document and promote event highlights for its portfolio. 

Confidential business information shared during the engagement shall not be disclosed by Qeni without prior written consent. 

Dispute Resolution and Legal Jurisdiction 

Disputes shall first be resolved amicably, 

Failing which, the matter will be referred to arbitration under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 

Jurisdiction shall rest with the courts in Kochi or Mumbai.
